The label is the starting point
Every registered pesticide has a label that sets how it may be used and the precautions that apply. Your licensed technician must follow it. See EPA: understanding pesticide labels.
Ask your technician before treatment
- Which product or method will be used, and where
- Where children and pets should be during and after treatment
- When people and pets can return to treated areas
- What to do with pet bowls, toys, fish tanks and food
- What to do if someone has a reaction
Why we don't promise "pet safe"
Safety depends on the product, the amount, where it's applied and how people and pets use the space. Blanket claims aren't honest. We give you written, treatment-specific instructions instead.
If you're worried about an exposure
Call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) or your doctor or veterinarian. For general pesticide questions, the National Pesticide Information Center is a reliable source.
