The public district
The Collier Mosquito Control District is a public agency that does area-wide mosquito surveillance and control within its boundaries. Its coverage map, services and how to request service are on its website. Check it for your address, because boundaries matter.
Private yard service
A private pest control company treats your property only: finding breeding sites, reducing standing water and treating where adult mosquitoes rest, according to the product label. It can make your yard more usable. It doesn't replace district-wide control, and it can't stop mosquitoes flying in from elsewhere.
